Waste Management and Pollution Control
Jhen Vei Electronic is committed to sustainable resource utilization by setting waste reduction performance targets and promoting waste sorting education. Our waste management principles are implemented in the following order:
- In-plant reuse to minimize raw material consumption.
- Recycling and recovery to extend resource life cycles.
- Incineration or landfill as the last resort.
We place great importance on maintaining a comprehensive waste management system, covering storage, transportation, and disposal processes, while strictly preventing pollution and potential risks. Only qualified contractors are entrusted with waste treatment, and we actively promote waste reduction through the following measures:
- Collaborating with recycling vendors to recycle and reuse industrial waste such as discarded wires and PCBs.
- Optimizing product packaging design to reduce plastic use and lessen environmental impact.
As the Sanchong Headquarters is located in a commercial office building, only general office waste is generated. Waste collection and disposal are managed by the building, and therefore are not included in the Company’s materiality assessment. Waste management statistics focus on the Group’s primary production sites.
In 2024, the total waste generated at the Huaian plant increased by 32.52% compared to 2023, mainly due to business expansion and higher production volumes. However, from an efficiency perspective, the waste generation intensity per NT$1,000 in revenue decreased from 0.163 kg to 0.146 kg, an improvement of 10.43%, demonstrating the Company’s ability to enhance waste management efficiency while scaling operations.
